A lot of us are experiencing drastic changes due to the Covid 19 outbreak. And these changes can often bring with them a lot of stress/uncomfortable emotions. There is a palpable sense of fear and uncertainty in globally, around our health, our loved ones, money, work, and also about isolation and the mental and emotional challenges that that brings.
I count myself very lucky in that I have been engaging with, (learning, experiencing and integrating) multiple approaches to my own mental and emotional well being. I find myself, like others, to be facing some emotional challenges, and due to the years of inner work I have done, the emotions that arise within me are very manageable, and no longer get the better of me or consume me. This is due to the implementation of the tools that I have learned over many years, which has given me the ability to get out of stress with relative ease.
I am writing this post mainly to reach out to anyone who is reading this and is experiencing stress/fear – general inner turmoil – and doesn’t know how to get out of it. The first thing I would like you to know is that even if your outer world is in flux, and you perceive that to be the cause of your suffering….its not! Your inner world might actually be the only thing right now, that you CAN have control over, that you CAN change. When you know how!
